-Earrings - I have plastic ones with fandom stuff (mario star, cherries, mushroom, tri force, etc...), Glass bead ones made from glass I fired myself! And also a few pairs made from recycled computer parts (since I work as an IT technician)

-Necklaces - Utilizing the same glass beads, as well as some creative trinkets I found, be sure to stop by and take a look!

-Keychains - made from a selection of my best button designs.

-Colored woodburnings! (yes color!) I started working on a few in watercolor pencil/conte crayon, the results look amazing! They'll cost a few bucks more than my regular ones (they take a LOT more time -_- ) but I hope you will stop by to see!

-Funny caution signs - Laminated signs of awesome to display at work!.

I will also have my normal array of woodtone stained woodburnings, a large selection of buttons, and a large selection of comedic badges (that I guarantee are better than your ACEN badge!).

I have worked with Otakon as an Artist and Merchandise Liaison for the past three years. This year, I am having a small contest here on dA to find our next new artist. Last year we had an open call and ended up getting four great artists off of dA, and this year we hope to continue with this specific project.

This contest involves providing a cleaned up sketch (inking not required but encouraged) of the Otakon Mascot Hiroko; in what you think would be the best design for our baby-doll style tshirt. Art may be up to 8x10 and can be mocked up on a digital line shirt if you wish (for effect). The final lineart is only ever in one color lineart, so don't go nuts trying to color something.

Our theme for 2009 is "vacation to the beach", and the style of the picture should reflect this theme. The art on this shirt has usually been chibi style. You can read more about Hiroko here: [link]

As the Otakon baby-tee artist, you will be reembursed a set fee to develop your contest concept into a finished baby-tee shirt design. You will also receive a free shirt with your design post-convention.

-Submissions must be made by 3/31/2009
-Entrants must be legal US residents, sorry, this is for payment purposes.
-PM me with any questions.
-Use of the Otakon mascot Hiroko is allowed for the contest, but all contest entries MUST credit "Hiroko C. Otakon" in their deviation post.
-You must post your entry in your gallery, then send me a PM with the gallery link to be counted as entering.
-Winner will be announced in this thread (if available still), or on my dA profile page.

My Etsy shop is open for business, perfect for anyone looking for a last minute holiday gift. I am also starting to sell some of the woodturning items that I am making on my lathe (pens to start, other things to follow).
